Wow! What a crew community we have! Nine children can name every member of our crew.
Mira and Savanna accomplished the goal earlier this week.

Independent literacy activities strengthen skills children have already learned. The activities can change as the year progresses.
Independent Literacy Activities include:
Recognizing letter features through sorting activities (this helps with speed of recognition, less confusion between letters, and letter formation).
Phoebe and Ashlyn sorted letters with a curve and letters with no curve.

Owen sorted letters with a diagonal line and letters with no diagonal line.

Caleb and Roy sang songs we have learned (they used the pictures as clues).

Luke and Van matched lowercase letters to Zoophonics letters.

Olivia and Rachel sorted letters with short sticks and letters with tall sticks.
